Bitch Slap from Reality
You know, one of the hardest things to accept (for me at least) is letting go. Often times I find myself so preoccupied in salvaging, pursuing, or resolving the friendship/relationship/distress that sometimes I completely forget (or avoid) the simple fact that maybe it isn’t meant to be and the proverbial dead horse has been beaten senseless.
But there’s always hope, right?
Ha, I actually joke around with my friends about this notion being some masochist trait of mine:
Tolerating the intolerable, completely absent, or hopeless and then trying to resolve it despite the hardships.
Why?
My Achilles heel?
Ehhh…no….wait….maybe. I might elaborate more on this soon…
